Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) proudly celebrated the commencement of its 2025 internship program, sending off 473 fourth-year students in a series of institute-specific ceremonies throughout February. These events marked the beginning of the students’ on-the-job training experiences.
The Institute for Business Management (IBM) initiated the send-off on February 5th, 2025, at the NBSC Covered Court, honoring 238 students. Miss Aiko Villa-Tocmo, Deputy Chief of District Staff of Education and Training from the Philippine Coast Guard, delivered an inspiring keynote address.
On February 12th, the Institute of Teacher Education Program held its pinning ceremony, recognizing 140 student-teacher interns. Miss Judy Grace E. Cuerquis, a distinguished NBSC alumna and Cum Laude graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English, served as the guest speaker.
The Institute for Computer Studies concluded the series on February 18th, sending off 95 interns. Mr. Angelo M. Auxtero, an NBSC alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, provided the keynote address.
These significant occasions were celebrated with the students and their proud parents and teachers. The interns are now deployed to various partner agencies for on-the-job training until May, where they will apply and enhance the skills and knowledge acquired at NBSC.
As these students embark on this exciting new chapter, the NBSC community, along with families and friends, extends heartfelt good luck and best wishes for a successful and enriching internship experience. May they carry the values of NBSC and return with valuable knowledge that will aid them in their future careers.
